Lots of hugs
Ang xx
Wishing Jo and Nathan a very happy birthday today, I hope you have a great time at the zoo! Lots of hugs Ang xx Add Comment How time flies. It seems just like yesterday we were celebrating my son Nathan's birth and now in just a few short days he will be turning 5 and starting school! Yesterday we hired out Nathan's kindy and celebrated his up-and-coming 5th birthday by having a 'Rock Star' party. Nathan was joined by 17 of his friends who all dressed up for the occasion; Bruce Springsteen, Madonna and John Lennon were just a few of the party guests. Hanging 'Rock Star' LP's, record cupcakes, musical notes table sprinkles, blow up guitars and microphone ice creams set the scene while SingStar and a live performance from Nathan's band 'Milkshake' kept everyone entertained. It was a wonderful day spent with some wonderful friends. Rock on! Jo xx A very special birthday wish to Zenon who turns 3 today. We're looking forward to joining you and your friends for some superhero antics on Saturday! Big hugs, Jo & Ang xx Don’t forget to make a list of the presents that everyone has given so that you or your child can send thank you notes. The day of the party has arrived – yay! Make the fresh party food like sandwiches, fruit kebabs, etc. Keep sandwiches fresh by covering them with a damp cloth like a clean tea towel. If holding the party at home, decorate the front door and letterbox with balloons. Set the table and lay the party food. Now you can sit back, relax and wait for your party guests to arrive! To save time on the morning of the party, blow up balloons the night before. 1 day before the party make and decorate the birthday cake. Prepare jellies and any other party food that would be fine prepared a day ahead. Decorate the house and table and prepare the party games. 2 days before the party call any RSVPs who have not responded and draw up your final guest list. Shop for the remaining party food, make up the loot bags and sort out party clothes. Don’t forget to check that your camera or video camera is fully charged. Bouncy castles are great fun if you have the room and kids love them. Try and get one that is suitable to use in the rain, and then the weather is one thing less to worry about. If all the parents aren’t attending, make sure you have a list of emergency contact numbers handy. Even if you have a problem that doesn’t involve that parent’s child, it may be necessary to call and get them collected earlier than planned. |
